Based in the Scottish Cairngorms near Kirriemuir, Katie is a passionate musician known for her captivating blend of Classical Crossover, infused with elements of folk, Rock and Pop. With a rich sound shaped by influences like John Martyn, Florence and the Machine, and Damien Rice, she has been making waves in the music scene since the release of her debut EP Buzz on By in 2021 and her single Get you Back in 2022. Industry insiders have praised her work, noting "Katie's music resonates on a personal level, intertwining heartfelt storytelling with stunning arrangements". 

Katie's musical journey is defined by her dedication to reliving experiences through songwriting. Her songwriting process is deeply personal, allowing emotions to channel through her art naturally. This authenticity is what sets her apart, making her music not just enjoyable, but also relatable. As a skilled pianist and violist, she takes pleasure in exploring various instruments, further enriching her soundscapes. 

Over the past few years, Katie has focused on recording from home, networking with other musicians, and performing. Excitingly, she has her first album scheduled to be released this year. Katie has also graced the airwaves, appearing twice on CamGlen Radio and live streaming on the well known Music from Scotland facebook page. Along with collaborating with BBC's Richard Latto for other live streaming opportunities.
